Quiney on standby for Watson..

As the player of the tournament International Cricket Council Twenty-20 (Shane Watson) as he is suffering from calf muscle.Batsman Rob Quiney was called out Sunday as the standby player for the champion Shane Watson in the Australian Cricket team for the first Test against South Africa in Brisbane,because the bowler of the Australian squad has been injured with a calf muscle and the chairman selector (John Inverarity ) said a decision on the team Vice Captain availability would be made well ahead the teat innings on friday. Selectors have named Rob Quiney to be on standby after the impress the panel with his performances in all the formats  
in recent years.The Victorian left-hander scored 85 off 133 balls for Australia A against a test pacemen Dale Styen and Vernon Philander in the three tour game...

Rob Quiney who is 30 years old,who has played 53 first class games said that:
It's a massive opportunity to join the Australian cricket team heading into such an important series."Hopefully,Shane Watson can get up and right because he's such an important player for the squad(Australian Cricket Team) but I'll obviously be training and preparing to be ready to go if Shane Watson doesn't get up the the upcoming series...
